We honor your privacy and ever since he first created CoolTea back in July 1996, Chuck's standard privacy policy is to never rent, sell or trade lists.With respect to your credit card information, it is processed in real-time via our bank's secure servers and is not stored on our servers. Our bank's payment gateway is compliant with Connecticut Law requiring that all credit card numbers get truncated and only the last four digits are stored as a transaction reference.
While ChuckScott.com encourages our advertising customers, sponsors, and other site partners to also treat your information with the utmost respect and care, we encourage you to check with them about their privacy policies.
In some instances, in order to successfully insure deliverables from third parties (e.g., advertisers, customers, sponsors, and/or other site partners), we must share some of your information with them. In such cases, we only share the least amount necessary to guarantee your receipt of successful deliverable(s).
For instance, with other Chuck sites like CoolTea's BizRSVP Event Registration Services, we share only the specific details required for your optimal event experience (e.g., name, contact information, number of tickets ordered).
Same thing applies with sharing only what is needed with merchants who run CoolTea stores (e.g., your name, contact information, product(s) ordered, shipping address).
